I confess that I don't much like "Jingle Bells" most of the time, but I borrowed Bela Fleck and the Flecktones' Jingle All the Way (2008) from the library earlier today, and their version? Oh yeah.

This one's for Molly: there's now a French market in Green Hills called Little Gourmand...



Its stock includes assorted mushrooms, including truffles, in various states and styles of preservation. The samples today included a pesto with truffle oil. Me, I'll be going back for mustard and Kusmi tea...

At Cheekwood, there were trees designed with various nations in mind. My favorite was the Scotland tree:



There was also a lovely handbell concert, with the ringers from First Baptist performing "In Dulci Jubilo" (aka "Good Christian Men Rejoice"), among other carols. (Here, the director is clowning a bit before they played "Rudolph" and "Frosty.")

And there were reindeer, in front of the workshop building and on the Iceland tree:
