J'ai demande de la lune
Dec. 2nd, 2015 08:25 pmKat McNally asks, as the day 3 prompt of Reverb15:
When was the last time you stopped to look up at the moon?
What did she have to say to you?
I don't remember how many days ago it was -- the days, they really are blurring together within the current crush of commitments -- but I saw the moon full and bright and high in the sky above my house, and she didn't have to say anything, because, how beautiful. Baruch atah adonai...
The last time I presumed to speak for the moon? August
And, because of this prompt, Indochine's "J'ai demande de la lune" has been running through my head through supper.
[an English translation (and links to three others)]
